Maria Laffin – R.Ac. , BA
Maria Laffin is the owner and founder of Acupuncture For Good. Acupuncture For Good provides acupuncture, cupping, and cosmetic acupuncture services in the heart of the Annex in Toronto.
Maria is a Registered Acupuncturist, with vast training, experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (CTCPMAO). She studied at Eight Branches, one of the top acupuncture colleges in Toronto.
Maria is highly experienced and has an integrative approach to her treatments. She believes in incorporating multiple Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) modalities, such as cupping, gua sha, tuina, moxibustion, scalp acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, and TCM nutrition. In addition to TCM modalities, she incorporates breathing techniques and relaxation exercises in order to maximize the treatment outcome. Maria’s needling technique is precise, gentle, and comfortable.
Maria believes that listening attentively to her patient's health issues is key to delivering a customized and gentle acupuncture treatment, in order to help with the healing process and also identify other hidden issues to optimize the treatment.
Maria loves cosmetic and facial acupuncture. She has advanced training for scalp acupuncture for neurological and psychosomatic disorders with Suzanne Robidoux, which she always uses in clinic in combination with auricular acupuncture to treat patients with stress and anxiety.
Our Goal is to help with pain management and emotional health, working collaboratively with each patient to find solutions for optimal health balance and relaxation.
